WIN membership Privacy Policy & Agreement

As a member of WIN, your business information including phone, address and e-mail address(es) will be published in the WIN Membership Directory unless you request exclusion.

As a member, you may receive periodic marketing or solicitation mail or e-mail from other members or organizations to which WIN belongs. Under no circumstances will your information be sold or rented to any individual, organization, or business outside of WIN and the organizations WIN belongs to. As a member, you agree not to provide this information to any individual, organization, or business without express permission.

Guidelines for regular mail and e-mail sent to the WIN membership are as follows. As a member, you agree to adhere to these guidelines:

1. E-mail and regular mail solicitations should be tasteful and relevant to the recipient.

2. E-mail solicitations should not contain any attachments or embedded images.

3. Any e-mail solicitations must include a means by which the recipient may unsubscribe or request exclusion form receiving further e-mails. Such requests must be honored by the sendee.  (adopted 6/29/01)

Nondiscrimination Policy

This policy defines Women In Networking's position on discrimination. As an all-volunteer organization, WIN does not currently have any permanent employees. However, on occasion, work may be contracted to individuals on the following basis: WIN provides equal opportunity to all contractors without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental handicap, veteran status or marital status.

This policy also applies to consultants retained by WIN, and in dealing with the general public. Violations of this policy will be ealt with quickly, and disciplinary action may be taken, up to and including termination of contract. If you believe that you have been discriminated against, report the incident immediately to the Board of Directors of Women In Networking. (adopted 8/10/01)
